Here’s what happened in the domain business last month:

1. GoDaddy loses .co contract to TIG partnership – The “original” winners of the contract to commercialize .co have lost the renewal. A partnership between Team Internet Group and CCI REG, a Colombian domain name registrar, won the bidding after agreeing to give Colombia 92% of revenues.

2. Companies recently bought these 15 domain names – Do you read our weekly end user sales reports? They are a great way to see what types of domains end users are buying (and how much they’re paying for them).

3. GoDaddy releases details of new, more expensive Pro plan for domain investors – Domain investors will start paying more for GoDaddy’s Discount Domain Club.

4. Top domain registrars: Spaceship helps Namecheap rocket higher – Namecheap continues to grow its main registrar, and Spaceship is accounting for much of the overall company’s growth, too. Also, check out a walkthrough of adding domains to Spaceship’s SellerHub. Domains on SellerHub now show up in Namecheap’s search results, and the company plans to eventually discontinue showing Sedo and Afternic names there.

5. Tesla wins cybersquatting case against Russian cryptocurrency scammer – The company won 52 domains in a UDRP.
